Everytime we would both ask ourselves, how did we beome best friends - we were never in the same class, nor the same dorm. Though we both agree, we clicked when we were crazy about BSB XD. Selamat Pengantin Baru, girl!!!!

PS: Kengkawan, she was the one I accompanied to for the Kursus Kahwin in Pontian XD. Congrats Intan utk majlis tunang kau *lega dah boleh announce kat blog aku, hahaha*

And the second one, it's Nino's 23rd birthday!!!! Otanjoubiomedetou Nino!!!!!!!

I like this picture when he was pitching for J-Red team

He was the psychotic killer in the movie Ao no Hono, landed in a role in Clint Eastwood's upcoming movie Red Sun, Black Sand along with Ken Watanabe, one of the Last Four in Stand Up!! (got moe list for his dramas but these would be enough for now), a self taught guitar player (and darn good at that too), notorious prankster in Arashi, ambidextruous, a good cook, thrift, loves chocolate cake - that's all I could think of for this post but there's more of course. The next Arashi birthday would be... for Jun XDDDDD

Home Alone part... I lose count

Night time, a moment to relax my old bones (macam la tua sangat) and basically just chill. Opened up funny clips over at youtube and funnily enough, a clip from a show have never yet failed to make me laugh. Here's the link and before you say "Tak baik tau ketawakan orang," bear in mind that the guy in the video inside the clip was chosen to make everyone laugh. A bit sadistic actually as, if anyone laugh watching the video, they are caned. There is no subs for this one but I bet anyone who knows English would laugh, hehehe.

Another Arashi Filled Sunday!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Well okay, I know I am freaky when it comes to Arashi. This weekend - make it to just now, I was in Singapore to meet up Mit-to since I asked her favour to buy me a copy of Kitto Daijoubu single. Before getting off from work Saturday, the temperature meter for my car went berserk and it was raining heavily. I nearly had a heart attack when the indicator went straight to H, afterwards C, in between both and then my signal light went funny. Luckily there were a car-service centre very near to my location. The main problem was that the battery wire did not have enough earth wire. An additional earth wire from the battery fixed the problem, thank goodness. Then I sped over to Larkin for my ride.

Reached Orchard at about 4.30pm and met Mit-to at Kinokuniya. It was totally mad and spazzing. We totally pondered on and talk about the guys of course, ranging from everything to anything. Arashi's natsu-con title which is - "AraSHIC, AraCHIC, AraSICK, Cool & Soul" was among it. We browsed through the latest Potato with Okada Junichi on the cover, Wink-Up and Duet since of course Arashi was in it and on the Duet cover. I finally bought Arashigoto book ^_^V and from the leaflet, mine was the 6th edition. That was like so fast in just a year since the first print was actually released on 31st July 2005. My favourite pic of all in the book would definitely be page 5 & 4 where the guys were running - hontouni kakkoi!!!. Later on, we were hunting for the newly moved MISE which of course haven't opened yet at the new location.

My conquest for June

Went over to Mit-to's house and again it was crazy. Her Arashi photo album was such a drool factor and I was just so over the moon browsing through it. We stayed up late watching them - and of course yesterday on 10th June, Jun was in Taiwan, presenting an award on Golden Melody Award in Taiwan. Being a perfectionist, I am just very sure that Jun learnt the Mandarin lines really hard - and it's only the most necessary part. The introdution and of course the "Award would go to" part. It was just like him in an episode of Mago-Mago Arashi - Learning Mandarin session. It seems that the Asia concert in Thailand would not come true as he was saying that they would have a concert in Taiwan T_T

Afterwards, we listened to his radio show - Jun Style (of course it was aired much earlier before he went to Taiwan). Much to our delight, he played snippets from their upcoming Arashic. SUGE!!!!! With too much Vanilla Coke in my system, I pleaded defeat at 3.30am and went to bed. Woke up at 6am just to see it's raining outside and then again resuming my video watching session. Mit-to was baiting me with Ikuta Toma's performance in Sugao which was what I admit, rather effectively and we practically drooled on Sho's & Ohno's back side performances. Ohno's song, Deep Sorrow in his 2001 butai (theatre performance) - Shinseki Emotion made me cry. It was about a jungle boy who have never felt anything, learnt how to feel and during that scene, he lost the girl that he love most. I've never seen the butai before but Dalinee had given me his 3104 yen solo-con with the song in it. Honestly, watching Ohno cry singing that song in SE and reading the song translation.... *tears rolling down.

大野智/Ohno Satoshi - DEEP SORROW

The seemingly endless night
brings me loneliness
my rusting heart
why would i need to cure it?

If we had been together a little longer
I would have been able to see
Your smile

I'm not used to your absence
The whole world is a broken paradise
I want to just forget everything
'Cause all my memories would only bring me sadness

I'm not used to your absence
The whole world is a broken paradise
I want to just forget everything
'Cause you're the only one i've ever loved

By the faraway horizon
I'll be waiting
I want to wait
Even if my body turns into ashes
To hear your voice, and see you one more time
Click here for download - though it is kinda poor and you might here Ohno voice screaming at the first part

Change note. I will definitely be going over again after 5th July for Arashic!!!!

X-Thursday

Okay, so the entrance exam was interesting. Interesting as, I don't know if I would actually past the test because throughout the 2 and a half hour I felt like there are just not enough time to finish the questions. For the verbal part (that was actually Bahasa Melayu section), I guess that I was in a huge mess. The analogy given was too darn confusing. The Analytical section was fun, but then again there were not enough time for me to dwell on each interesting IQ questions. Math was fun, but not enough time. Maybe I should just stick to my day job ^^;;
I met Malia and Pi at the exam centre, haven't seen them for so long. Well actually I went to Pi's house last raya, and last time I met Malia was when we were in matriculation. We went for the same reason - burn out.
After the test, I went to Jusco Tebrau with my brother to catch X-Men 3 - The Last Stand. Being an avid follower of the X-Men TV series when I was in secondary school, of course I wouldn't miss the chance warching the rise of the Phoenix. I watched the Phoenix saga during that time for more than twice with another fellow friend Atikah. While the rest were resting at the dorm on a Sunday morning, you could bet that Atikah and I would be sitting in the front row of the Dining Hall watching X-men at 9.30am.
Verdict, it was so good and scary at the same time. Of course they didn't stick to the tv series. If they do, it would surely be weird if suddenly they have visitors from out of space dropping by and asking help from the X-men. Instead of MPD, Jean Grey would have the Phoenix spirit from the alien force possessing her when she was trying hard to guide the space vessel back to earth's atmosphere. That would kind of sound funny and too confusing especially if Mr Sinister's gang comes into the picture. There would be like... 5 major groups to think of instead of just 2. The Phoenix went berserk part was definitely freaky *shivers. Too many disintegration parts.
It's a Saturday and I'm off to Singapore!!!!
Jaa, mata getsuyoubi (^_^)//

Walimatul Urus - Syakin & Ami

Okayla, sorry for the delay dear friend. A lorry drove into the phone pole so I was basically out of communication line for a few days. It was a torture *Aargh...
So anyway here's the pic taken at Syakin's wedding. Many turned up - the guys basically hang out at the dining table while us girls were inside the house for the 'bersanding' procession, sitting near to the 'pelamin' with the hope of taking some of the blessings from the 'tepung tawar'.
Okay, as for today my post is short. Going to get ready for a test later today. Wish me luck ^_^V

A View From The Backhoe

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Carpenters hammering,
Painters painting,
Plasterers plastering
Landscaper landscaping,
Interlocking pavers paving.

Birds chirping,
People humming, singing - and cat-calling
The constant sound of the lorry coming in and out,
Steam-rollers, excavators, concrete mixers, wheel-barrows
Flat tyred backhoe, wheelbarrows - bicycles,
Constant phone ringing,
Shouting voices.

Hardworkers....
Contractors, site engineers, architects, clerk-of-works, labours,
The OWNER...
And the view of some errant workers skiving.

Scorching sun, cloudy sky,
Another working day.

Arashi Filled Sunday!!!

ラキラキベイブ 仕事はラストのオーマイグルーヴ
Raki raki beibu shigoto wa rasuto no oomai guruuvu
Lucky lucky babe, my job is the last of my groove
なかなかベイブ 今日は楽しい!(朝まで!)
Naka naka beibu kyou wa tanoshii! (asa made!)
Today, today will be pretty fun, babe! (Until dawn!)

After few months pm-ing and few weeks sms spamming back and forth, finally, Dalinee, Lara-chan & Syila ne-chan managed to meet up face to face. If it was not because the day after was Monday, we might actually ended up having fun until dawn (**does mimic of Sho's "Asa made!!"). Honestly at first, I had my doubt. Of course it was like a first date but not quite since there were three of us. Will it be fun? What other things that we could do? How's my dress? Hope there's enough parking space XD.

My boss and I swapped car for the weekend since I had to manage the site on Saturday and have to transport machinery back and forth. If it happened to be a Mitsubishi Storm, I would actually drive it for our small get-together. Then I could actually dub it as the Arashi-mobil XD. Dream on, it's not a Mitsubishi and I know I would have LOADS of trouble just looking for a parking space with that one.

Picked up Dalinee at her place - we were like "USO!!!" when we first found out that she lives very near to my workplace. My doubt were thrown out the window as we clicked on spot. Sounds freaky but as the driver, I myself was stunned that we've reached our destination. Syila ne-chan had a check up at the clinic so we walked around for potential lunch spot. Went into Harris (How could I ever resist that spot?) looking over the Jdrama section and the Japanese CD. As always, there were tons of Lead, W-inds, Ayumi Hamasaki, Tackey & Tsubasa (Why is there no Arashi??!!!). I didn't know that we were actually hogging few spots in the store for such a long time until I realized my feet were kind of stiff. Went for my favourite green tea ice-cream at the Legend of Tea and Kak Syila came!!!!! Hungry gila and headed straight to Yoshinoya.

There we chatted (I realized one of the waiters name tag was "STORM" XD) Time does fly by when you enjoy it too much. Went back to Harris, Dalinee found "Propose" with subs (aaahhh jelesnyeee, hahaha) and we bought the C1000 drink - the vitamin drink that was advertised by Arashi. Jusco was having a Japan junk-food booth. If the O'zack potato chips were there, I guess I might have bought it too. Petit cookies were there- they both pointed out that our boys have advertised that too but we did not buy it. So anyway in the end, at the parking lot - passerby would actually paused looking at 3 girls acting like baka trying to take pics by themselves. It was of course unsuccessful.

A session of A No Arashi (Aの嵐!!!) - No Aiba of course, hahaha

Bon Odori is in July in Shah Alam. Don't know if I am able to go there for the Japanese fest since Arashi would be releasing their Arashic on the 5th - and I know I'm gonna go to Sg for that particular reason. *thinks hard.

OMG!!!

Just got back from an Arashi filled Sunday (full report tomorrow... *looking at the clock - I mean later today) - knowing that my Music Station would be ready when I get home. And so, as always checking on the performance that I want to see most. In this case, It's YamaP latest song "Daite Senorita" the soundtrack for his drama, Kurosagi. It wasn't until after the bridge part when I was totally stunned.

He actually managed to strike his microphone stand off amidst the performance, chasing after it when it falls - well actually chasing for the mic because the singing part had come. The camera crew was kind of in a panic because suddenly the camera view changed to, like some kind of a store-room. Poor YamaP, 恥ずかしい.

Cross Country

It was Saturday, half day work for me. The night before as I was browsing through the Arashi thread at Jdorama found out that they actually have the Kitto Daijoubu single at HMV. What did I do? Well, what I would do when my 'gila' instinct comes - go over to Singapore, what else? The big blow came in the morning in the form of my boss, informing me that we have to attend at meeting at the site since the consultant called us at the very last minute for it. We were grumbling and complaining because my boss already planned to go 'balik kampung' and I already planned (although it's spontaneous) to go to HMV.

Meeting ended at about 2.30pm and I did a mad dash driving to Larkin from Kulai, since I don't know the roads in Sg, other than the fact that it's better to take public transport to Orchard than anything else. The crowd was fine at Tambak and Woodlands, chatted with a very nice lady by the name of Mak Wan throughout the journey. Orchard, as always was filled with people and then I started my long stride since Heeren is kind of far from the MRT station. As I reached there I felt like crying. The Kitto Daijoubu shelf was EMPTY!!! Went over to the counter and checked with the sales clerk and found out that there were too many asking for KD and I actually missed the last copy by few minutes (如何して?... sob sob sob...如何して??!!疲れた!!!! *bows down and cries) Well, to appease my troubled heart (and mind) I bought Arashi's One, went to Borders and took the train back to JB.

**Note to self: It's okay to go to Sg on Saturday but not going back at the same day, unless its a Sunday. Traffic was mad both ways in the evening as well as the queue at Woodlands checkpoint. Took the train back at 5.30, changed bus but reached JB at about 9 tsk tsk tsk.

And So...

I did not manage to get my tooth out today because I didn't know that Thursday is appointment day. That means I still have 3/4 or my wisdom intact, hehe.

It also seemed like the dental clinic was almost deserted with most staff going on meetings, off day and MC. I brought my mak over with me, knowing that she would love to meet up with her old friends while I am supposedly to be occupied with the teeth thingy. Plans had changed. The polyclinic was near to empty so we both went to the main clinic at the Hospital area. There of course, we get to meet up her old friends and I admit we did cause some commotion for the few 5 minutes. Everyone was talking at the top of their lungs seeing my mak and at first they did not recognise me. Me, the same kid who climbed up and down the table at my mak's office everytime I came back from kindergarten. I thought they knew until after nearly 30 minutes of moving in and out they were like, "Lah, Diah ke ni?!" and the commotion started again.

Afterwards, we went over to Pasar Tani buying groceries, vegetables, some this and that for the kitchen. Been ages since I accompanied my mak to the market because most of the time she or my abah went to do the shopping over the weekdays when I was at work. There at the market, again, we stopped so many time because we bumped into my mak's friends who worked at the Land Office very near to the place. It was a good thing because my mak is a retiree so meeting up with old friends would of course would consume up some time. Just like everytime I get to meet up with my old friends *grins.

After the market, went over to Avon shop for my supply of beauty stuff which only consist of perfume and the 'Kedai Apek Kaki Ayam' for ingredients to bake cakes at the opposite of it. Apparently my mom's cousin asked her help to bake some fruitcake for her daughter's, my second cousin's wedding at the end of the month. More than a week to go but my mak wants to get it all ready before the occasion. Then we went over to Courts Mammoth and afterwards to the wet market behind the area, looking for ikan tenggiri because my mak want to make some 'botok-botok' (steamed fish cooked with spices and lots of vegetables) for the wedding too.

By the time we finished up the chores, it was afternoon. Feeling a bit tired but happy since I haven't done shopping like this with my mak for months. Then I went to bed for a nap, hahaha.

Happy Belated Mother's Day, Mak.

Penat...

Finally, time to breathe in and out properly. Only for a short time I know. Submitted the 1 week job to the client and I am in desperate need of my pillow. Honestly sleeping 2 hours daily like I was in final year is making my head hurt. Whoaaa been only 2 years and I couldn't cope with the time anymore? Taking tomorrow off because.....

ARASHI HIT NUMBER 1 AT ORICON CHART DAILY!!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

There, Arashi, Kitto Daijoubu - ichi-ban!!!! And I know the Limited Edition single over the net has already been sold out. Kyaaa... I waited too long whether to buy it or not and by the time I've decided, all the sites said it's already out of print. Procrastinator *sighs.

Kidding.

I'm taking the day off because I plan to get one of my wisdom teeth out. Already taken one out few years ago because it went out horizontally instead of vertical. Now, the one above the empty spot went down down down and causing me problem everytime I eat. So... if wisdom teeth shows wisdom for people... if I lost 2, does that mean I only have half wisdom left? hehehe.

How about those who have to pull all of it out? No wisdom left?

Hahahahaha, people who have worn braces, don't kill me >_< *runs.

*Edit: Uwaaaa... spent the whole night editing the blog template. Don't know what's wrong but everytime I tried to move the chatterbox at the upperside, nothing could be posted afterwards. Troublesome!!!! Near to 1. Tidur lagi best, huhuhu. Oyasuminasai!!!!

Sunday, May 14, 2006

Another working Sunday due to the project rush. But then again, they haven't set the CFO date and I just found out that they actually planned to close the road off at the end of May, not on 15th like they said a week ago, kyaaaaa.

We worked on Friday while most were off. From my observation at the construction site, the existence of the holiday was barely there since the place is still abuzz with the sound of excavators, cranes, backhoes, numerous of 'lori hantu' and the rythmic sound of hammering.

Lunch time....

*Phone rings, pick up
Ms L: Diah, you're going back to the office right?
Me: Yes.
Ms L: Okay, I want you to bring Aidah over at the site and show her around. Introduce her to BRC, aggregate, crusher run and all that, okay?
Me: Okay, Ms L. The whole day?
Ms L: Yes whole day. Let her pegang the 'cangkul' once in a while *laughs, phone disconnected.
Me: Yatta!!!

Through out my ascend to the top floor, I was relieved to see that she was wearing her flat sandal, but as I went into the office, she was wearing baju kurung. Ah, tak kisah, angkut.

Meet my office-mate/admin exec, Aidah. We have the same interest and that is ARASHI!!! Since she took Japanese class in university, we both are learning by mixing Japanese words in our daily conversation. She knows how to speak, I know how to spell... most of it anyway though my kanji is definitely out *sweat. We were both Jun baits, from watching Gokusen and Hana Yori Dango but now we have switched our attention to the rest of Arashi members. She to Ohno/Leader (katakanised to be Rida) and myself to Sho (I still love Jun XXDDD). We swapped CDs if any of us managed to finish downloading the latest episode of G No Arashi (a variety show starring them), Mago-Mago Arashi (2 of the members being grandchildren to a couple of elders for a day, helping with their daily chores and work. Mago means grandchildren) or any performance on TV. Not forgetting for any good dramas that both of us bought.

Enough intro, I know I would end up yapping about Arashi if I don't refrain myself. At the site, as always there were cat-calls and whistles that greeted us. A normal occurence because 99% of them are males. Shown her all the things that she ordered for us since she started work - BRC, aggregate, crusher run, different types of trees, turf, everything. The workers seems to be putting their effort to 110% with Aidah around, which Mr and Ms L said that they will surely be dead tired after work ends. Ms L suggested for me to wear baju kurung at the site for once. Kyaaaa... NEVER!!! Well, not never but if it's for work, that is highly unsuitable. I won't have the pocket to carry my cutter, pen-knife supply and I can't even hook my measuring tape. Troublesome.

It's 9pm now. Bedtime (I wake up at 4). お休みなさい皆!!!

You'll Surely be Okay Part 2

Okay? I worked on Vesak Day, I worked full-time Saturday, someone banged into my car yesterday ending me up with a long scratch on my back door and I got to work today, Sunday. Is it okay? The okay part is when I got home finding out KITTO DAIJOUBU's PV is finally out, YEAY!!! The PV is so infectious that it lightens up my gloomy day. They look so genki, making me genki too. Go! Go! Arashi!!!! daisuki!!!!! Nino's back home!!!!

off COURSE

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Been weeks since my last post, I know. I have been busy and of course there was the laziness factor that assaulted me during the hectic period. It had been a rather interesting weekend for me. As of today, I have added yet another certificate in my folder. The Pre-Marital Course certificate, hehe.

Don't get me wrong. By attending the course, it does not mean that I have a wedding plan this very near future. I don't even have a prospective groom - yet. Truth was I accompanied one of my friends to the session. The participants mostly came with their future-to-be-other-half, some came alone since their prospective spouse lived in different state. Since my friend was alone, she predicted that she would be bored to death just in case the lectures would be boring and I happened to have an extra day off, I agreed to sign in for the course. There is no expiry date for the certificate unless you've gone through a divorce (not included for widows/widowers, and polygamist) so I thought, what the heck? Just take it.

The registration started Saturday, 6th May at 1.00pm. As we were about to sign for the attendance, it hit both of us that the majority of the girls were born in '84 based on their Identity Card number. We were one of the few 'eldest' people in the girl's crowd. Things got a little bit uncomfortable for me when the girls were asking about my supposedly 'other half'. After a few while some of them were showing off their invitation cards *sweat. There were also a rather elder man among the participants - whose phone kept on ringing consistantly and spoke at the top of his lungs in the middle of the class, one guy who kept on cracking jokes while the lecturers were speaking, a girl who 'melatah lucah' 24/7, another girl who kept on texting someone on her phone (and her phone keypad sound was annoying me to the max) and kept on kicking my friend's seat. In short the attendees were interesting. I realized at the end of the course during the certificate giving session, there was an x-schoolmate of mine was also there though I doubt he remembers me since we were in different class... or was he? (x-STMI1 - ingat tak Helmi Selamat?)

The course was very informative. There were 11 modules/classes which covered nearly all the aspects of a marriage - the preparation and what might come in the future, how to settle the conflicts, economic part of a family, clear cut of the wife's and the husband's responsibilities and the procedures of a marriage if the spouse lives in the same district, different states and even different countries.

The classes yesterday was interesting, as for today it was a bit drag. Maybe it's just because that I have to sit from 8am to 6.30pm non-stop and it drained out all of my energy. Rumours - maybe starting from next month they are going to add more modules to the course ^_^ I'm done with it, woohoo!!!

松潤と櫻井翔、大好き!!!

You'll Surely Be Okay XD

Well actually it's Arashi's new single, "Kitto Daijoubu" so I am okay, as long as I see their shows night and day which is what I am actually doing right now XD. Apparently their performance during Shounen Club Premium last Sunday was one person short - Nino was still in U.S. filming Clint Eastwood's Red Sun, Black Sand, though from the latest news, he's already back in Japan, yatta!!!! Not used to seeing only 4 performing anyway. If I watch that movie, it would only because of Nino XD. So katik, yet so talented *swoons. Fangirl moment, sumimasen.

**The quality of the video is not that good in Youtube. Can't see Sho's secret smile when he made the wrong turn *sighs. Surprised to see his fluffy hair, though he still looks good XD. Think that Jun shrank back again after HYD (Don't think that I could handle watching him in his upcoming movie "Boku Wa Imouto Koi Ni Suru" - the title gives me the creeps), Riida looks "Oh-so-kakkoi" and Aiba is suave as always. Dang, sure miss Nino. IMO, the dance kinda didn't match the song's meaning. It's actually the commercial song for a vitamin drink. Erm... vitamin drink + translation... XD, pfftt H?...Can see the air guitar movement - maybe because of too many air guitar band audition in G No Arashi XD.

**All time favourite, A Day In Our Life - the mix & dance from the Iza Now Concert tour. Probably if they performed the regular version, the loss of Nino's voice during the Sho-rap back up would be too significant.
So anyway managed to pick up my 2 years "Hanging on the wall" guitar, clip my nails, tune it back up and played it a little because of Remioromen's Kona yuki (powdered snow) just to find out... I forgot the whole chords - even the basic ones **smack forehead. There I went hunting for my old guitar chord and scales book. Well one thing for sure, I could still play Ronan Keating's When You Say Nothing At All (Dayah's teaching that managed to be stuck in my head) and Green Day's Time of Your Life (I forgot the other title, but that one courtesy of Man f**ker's teaching). Not good at tuning the guitar actually. Last time during college, I got Azhar to tune it for me. Dang, he is sure lost in space somewhere and didn't even contact the rest of us after graduation.
Off to bed,
Minna oyasumi nasai *waves.

Luahan Perasaan Part 2

Warning!!
True to the title, it is a luahan perasaan and full with negativity.

2 years worth of bottled up emotion.

I think I am reaching my breaking point already with this job.

Funds are getting low because to date, there are a number of clients who haven't paid for our work and both bosses are contantly barking at our heels for things that they thought I should do. It is getting on to my nerves already. I didn't know that I am in charge of an area at all. One time they were saying, okay this is your area, and then last week, they were like, "You have to check up this area you know" as if I am not doing anything at all. Last time " You have to remind me on the work program okay and I'll bring our team there" and not long after "You can't just remind me, you have to organize to group, I'm only helping you." Now where does that comes from? It's driving me insane. I was always put on a mouse hunt, when there are things are due the day after, they would put me at the site. When the things are not done the most annoying line was "I don't care how you do it but I want things done." How am I supposed to get it done when there's always an errand that they put me on? I bring work to home everyday without fail and I'm not a superwoman. When I get so tired from siteworks, its hard to pick up a pencil and do design. Tried sketching at the site but how am I able to sketch when the bosses kept calling me asking for the records of work at the site.

Designwise, when I proposed for a design, she would say it would look odd, weird, etc. When we got a contract where the design is a little bit similar to the one that I proposed for - for other site, they said, we should try this design once a while. I just had enough of it

Sometimes I feel like saying to hell with everything.

I am in the brink of that.

Breaking point was few days ago when the boss was screaming at me in front of the clients to cover up their blunders. There I go, the scapegoat.

I am tired of all this. My work contract requires for 2 months notice. Pretty long for a small company. Just because my predecessors mostly quit 1 month max after service because my boss is moody. I just wonder how did I managed to stay there that long...

1 Liter Of Tears

Spent my whole Sunday watching シ代Μ繝繝医Ν縺ョ豸 (Ichi Ritoru No Namida/1 Liter Of Tears). True to the title, I managed to emit out loads of tears watching every episode of the drama. Managed to drag my mak as my companion though she just made a crack on every funny translation that they got in the boxset. Who wouldn't laugh at '1 liter punya airmata' translation for the title?

Though anyway it was about a girl who got Spinocerebellar disease. Sounds fancy but basically it's a disease where the patient lost complete ability to control their body. It goes by stages that is. Anyway, 1 liter of tears was based on the life journal of Kitou Aya who passed away because of the particular disease. She was active in sports and one of the brightest student in her school. Her world came tumbling down when she discovered she sometimes couldn't control her movement, fell down without any reason and sometimes seeing things in double. Her soon to be boyfriend ditched her because of the sickness and as time goes by her whole classmates was calling her a nuisance because their studies was affected by her. She couldn't manage to write as fast as she could before and the teachers had to slow down their teaching because of that.

Aya lost her ability one by one. The story ciculated on how she lived her life before she passed away. The tearjerking scene came when even that she became an object of ridicule among her peers, she still managed to smile.

P.S: I don't have a life, hehehe. Only work and watching dramas 24/7. Bear with me ;)

Rambling of an Old Woman

Hello everyone!!
Hey minna!!
Konnichiwa, Ohayou, Konbanwa!!
Sabahul khair!! Masa'ul khair!!
Good morning, good evening and good afternoon!! (that just sound like a line from Lo's Evening News).

Sound a bit demented after a short hiatus. Though, more than a week in the tech world is actually long. A lot could happen in just a milisecond. Work has been hectic as always, especially few days back when some of the workers created a havoc. Normal labour relation trouble that I bet a lot would have to go through handling much too young workers.

My reprieve?

My PC with internet connection of course (sounds pathetic, thee hee).

Even so, I happened to skip checking my mails for 3 days. Just 3 days and there it goes, 60 unread messages exluding hundreds of spams in the bulk folder. Missed 4 days of learning kanji through e-mail, stuck at letter 'su' for both hiragana and katakana.

Cause?

Too caught up watching 'Kimi Wa Petto' on Youtube. The loading takes about 30 minutes max for a portion so sometimes I managed to get 2 full episodes in a night. The title sounded totally kinky to me at first sight. Some box set translated it as 'Pet Lover', some 'You're my Pet'. About a highly successful journalist who kept having trouble expressing herself, dubbed as the kakashi or noh doll behind her back by her collegue. The weird part came when she found a box filled with a young man covered with blood. Rain fell, she took the box in and cared for the young man. He woke up, felt indebted and wanting to stay with her. She agreed - only if he becomes her pet. Yeah yeah sound kinky but its not in the kinky way but still kinky in some way, nothing to do with sex. Being pet as pet. Like rearing a cat - feed them, take care of them, wash them and all that. Weird. But funny. Jun was in it, thee heee.

Then, watching the movie Azumi that took forever for the download to finish. It was an old movie. Old as in 2003 release. About an orphan girl, Azumi (obviously) who was reared along with other 9 boys as an assassin group. The mission was to hunt and kill leaders who becomes a threat to the Tokugawa reign. Watching the movie just remind me a lot of Kill Bill. Blood and gore, though Kill Bill was a whole lot unrealistic with blood that basically sprayed out like it was coming out from a hose. The starting of the story was like a cliche. Girl was found beside mom's dead body. An old man walked by with some boys spotted the girl and took her in. Few years passed by and then the characters fell down like dead flies, beginning with the final ritual of being an assassin - killing your own best friend. Demented. Lowdown - Joe Odagiri, the hero in Shinobi became the most psycho killer, hunting down Azumi's group. The psycho killer part I could stand but his character looked like a total pansy with too much powder on. *Sighs.

Scary.

Not because of Azumi.

Just that I've realized that I somewhat have reverted back to my old secondary school self only that now I have a job.

Keep Tryin'

When everything around becomes stressful, out of hand and sometimes makes you want to quit - take a deep breath and think again, and then get stressful again. NVM, the rant of a stressed out person, hahaha.
My theme would be Utada Hikaru's new song. Very meaningful when you look into the translation. Motivating. I love the PV because of the graphic :D

Keep Tryin' - Utada Hikaru

I don't care about anything
As I made a face that says as much
I was always, always praying
Asking for too much
I can't be even a little satisfied
So keep trying

A comedy program on at ten o'clock
Even though I've recovered from being tired from work
I don't want to be by myself
That's an important thing to me
I'm getting more careful than I was last year
Only a challenger can win the prize
I want to win it

I don't care about anything
I was a little late this morning
But I'm going to try hard from here
I expect so much
But I'm no idiot
So keep trying

The truth is that I'm more hungry than anyone
Even though I hide my confusion about my feelings
Every morning my weak and honest face is reflected in the mirror
I want to get rid of it
Wishes on a moonlit night are beautiful things
But I'm a target, jumping into the mud
Lady, let's go

I don't care about anything
As I struck a cool pose I fought with telling the truth
Life is important
You really should care about it a little more
Please take a break
"Time is money"
In the future, don't tell me that you're a government official
They've got no dreams
"Money over love"
It's alright if my darling is a salaryman
If we've got love

I don't care about anything
As I made a face that says as much
I was always, always praying
Asking for too much
I can't be even a little satisfied
So keep trying

Donburakokko
Rising and falling in this world is harsh
The only person with unchanging values
At any given time, is you

Boys always, always leave my love unrequited
A price can't be put on passion, on passion
Father, keep trying, trying
Mother, keep trying, trying
Big brother, conductor, bride, keep trying, trying

Just love the last part when she went on "Otousan, keep trying trying, Ookasan, keep trying, trying, Onee-chan and all that". Minna ganbarimas!!

Ode to Cikgu Zaiton/Mudirah

I was browsing through the online learn Japanese for beginner site when my mak came into my room - browsing through my notebook filled with Japanese alphabets - only from 'a' to 'se' - and said, to quote "Baguslah belajar bahasa Jepun. Lepas ni belajar French dengan Spanish. Arab tu kena betulkan balik." Then it hit me - I love languages, though not good in many. Even my Malay and English grammar is still going haywire.

My father is quadruplingual (I honestly don't know if that word exist or not, hehehe). He's able to converse in Malay, English, Arab & Javanese. Most of my Chinese & Indian friends are trilingual and sometimes I just envy those who are able to speak more than 3 languages. Languages are beautiful. It is our most precious form of communication - even cavemen have their language. I spoke Malay ever since I could speak, I learned English from TV and school and I've learned Arabic since I was 8, which I say is a pity that I wasn't able to master it. I'm 100% Javanese but I only know very little of it. Another pity. I was able to converse in sign language when my housemate's sister stayed with us for quite a long time. She is deaf but the whole house occupants were able to learn the language from her because of her warm personality. Then again, when she moved out I forgot nearly all of it.

My all-time favourite English teacher would be Puan Norliah (though I bet most of my friends don't like her). She have her moments but to me, her class was never boring. Cikgu Zaiton a.k.a Mudirah would be my all-time favourite Arabic teacher. In from 3, I was put in the weakest set for Arab (I always get C at that time boardering to D) and she was the teacher. From the moment the class starts, everyone was put on alert when she wrote a word on the board and picked us at random to construct a sentence from it and put the word synonym and opposite word (in Arabic of course). It was quite tense for me because she would always remember my sister. My sister was a student in KTAM, '88 batch and she was the head-prefect during her time - a fact that I believe, I never told any of my schoolmates of.

The hard work paid off when I was able to construct easy sentences and I was able to compose a short essay in Arabic myself. When I was in Form 4, Ija and Rafidah, my fellow juniors/dorm-mates approached me after they did an interview with Cikgu Zaiton for their PMR history project. They said that when they asked the most memorable moment for her - she said, it was when I got A for my Arabic. They told me that she didn't expect that at all because of my previous results and that she was actually waiting for me to see my results at the middle of the 'kolong' from the office. When they said that, I suddenly remembered that she was laughing from the office door at my reaction. How can't I be touched? Though it all went out when I was in upper secondary. I wasn't able to keep up with my new Arabic teacher. Not his fault but I lack the motivation because Arab Tinggi is the literature part of Arabic. If it was communication Arabic, I think I would able to but I'd still say, a pity for me. Cikgu Zaiton retired when we were in Form 4. I miss her actually and would really want to meet her again someday - probably would be bringing my sister too.

Hmm... any possibilty of me being multi-lingual?
