Hear Me Rant!!!

Of all day, the feeling of like screaming out loud today is very overpowering. First cause, the tile supplier called up at the very last minute to inform me that the tile we had ordered on Monday was not available at their JB store. If we want it, we would have to wait til Friday. FRIDAY?! Of course I yelled her for not telling that to me the minute I called and ordered for the tiles on Monday. The excuse - "Oh, sorry we didn't realize until we're about to load the lorry up". Sorry my arse. The showhouse is due on 15th, so we need the tiles fast. Relayed the info to my boss and of course she was furious. Had to make a very quick decision and after gruelling checking up of what's available and what's not, finally chose on the tiles with an emphasis that the tiles MUST arrive at the site by noon. Gosh, this job makes me yell at people a lot - only to those who screw up that is. Believe me, I don't like yelling.

Second cause, in the afternoon I was being put in charge to measure a site at the Mount Austin area and check up on the workers. Out of some whatever reason, I called them up like crazy but no one answered. I know one of the worker was busy doing grass-cutting so I bear with him but the other one... just simply didn't pick up his phone. The sites are far from the office so we mainly relay information on cellphone. All of us have allowance on that so by right, they have to answer the call during working time. Got a hold of him, and it just tip me off when he insist on sitting at the back seat. Hello?! Do I look like a chauffer or someone else's driver? Even when I drove my boss around he/she sat next to me. I told him no, my backseat was already filled with the measure roller and measuring tapes and my bag.

Done measuring and guess what happened next? his girlfriend or whoever she is messaged me up while I was on my way back to the office and annoying me asking who the hell am I and why was I so insistent on calling him. As if I don't have many things to do for the whole day. I ignored the messages but one particular message blew me off. I replied it while driving saying that I'm his superior and I call him up because of work - hey I know how jealousy works and I don't want to cause relationship trouble. Guess what she replied back? she was cussing at me in javanese! (the worker is from indonesia and although their javanese language is slight different from here, the cuss word is not that much of different). And so I typed, in perfect malay that is - If you don't want your boyfriend to lose his job, you might as well shut up and you might as well ask him who I am. Yeah, so I was bluffing but as if she knows. She stopped txting me after that one. That works. Actually I feel like calling her up but then again, she doesn't worth my money, a simple 5 cents txt message was enough.

The highlight of my day when I got back, I saw and elderly couple walking by the side of the road and yes, they made my day. They are both around 60s or 70s, the husband was walking and pushing his wife in the wheelchair, they were both laughing and smiling and talking... at that age, gosh, that is so darn romantic. The view certainly melts my heart. I wish...

The Guessing Game

Guess which song and artist does this song comes from:-

Empty spaces fill me up with holes
Distant faces with no place left to go
Without you within me I can't find no rest
Where I'm going is anybody's guess

I've tried to go on like I never knew you
I'm awake but my world is half asleep
I pray for this heart to be unbroken
But without you all I'm going to be is incomplete

Voices tell me I should carry on
But I am swimming in an ocean all alone
Baby, my baby
It's written on your face
You still wonder if we made a big mistake

I've tried to go on like I never knew you
I'm awake but my world is half asleep
I pray for this heart to be unbroken
But without you all I'm going to be is incomplete

I don't mean to drag it on, but I can't seem to let you go
I don't wanna make you face this world alone
I wanna let you go (alone)

I've tried to go on like I never knew you
I'm awake but my world is half asleep
I pray for this heart to be unbroken
But without you all I'm going to be is incomplete

Incomplete

Clues:

  1. Mendropkan my water face (embarrassment) among my guitar gangs - if they knew.
  2. Teenage drools.
  3. 4 albums yet, another one to come.
  4. Was in the Force of Nature concert.
Any ideas?

Love Actually

Sunday, the day I waited most. The day when I get to lounge out and just relax. Its when evening comes that I feel rotten because tomorrow would be yet another same week. Watched movies, and yes again - Love Actually and ahem, The Prince & I, hahahaha. Chic flick movie day what can I say? Honestly I could watch Love Actually hundreds (if not thousands) of times and still would enjoy it. Reasons why I LOVE Love Actually:-

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

  1. Its actually many stories in one movie - Love between husband and wife whom unfortunately was being tested in the form of the husband's beautiful secretary, relationship between a jaded, cynical and crazy rockstar and his manager (Who actually encouraged kids not to buy drugs, on national television but encouraged them to be popstar because they could get those for free, lmao), between stepdad and stepson, about a 10 year old kid who try to pursue the 'love of his life' with the help of his stepdad whom had just lost his wife - which was the kid's mom, between a prime minister (I would say I enjoyed Hugh Grant being the prime minister in this movie) and his catering manager, about a guy who fell for his best friends' girlfriend who later became his wife (his best friend's I mean) and try hard to hide it, about a guy who travelled thousands of mile to find any girl in the U.S who likes 'sexy britain man', about a man who fell in love with his Portuguese housekeeper whom he doesn't actually understand a word she said but in the truth they were actually talking about the same thing and last but not least love between a sister and her brother - that one was sad because he was mentally sick and she had to choose. See, many story in one movie. I just love it.
  2. Its funny and heartwarming. It started with a scene in Heathrow Airport with Hugh Grant as the narrator, saying - Love actually is all around and ended with the Heathrow Airport again. And yes, its funny to hear the re-rendition of Love Is All Around by Wet Wet Wet was being changed to Christmas Is All Around. Cheesy lyrics such as - if your really love christmas, come on and let it snow, hahaha.
  3. Great casting - Hugh Grant, Keira Knightly, Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Martine McCutcheon (as the lovely catering manager who cuss nearly all the time accidentally), Alan Rickman (also known as Severus Snape in Harry Potter movies) and last but not least Rowan Atkinson as the annoying store manager who insist on gift wrapping a small necklace box into a huge present box with sprig of holly, lavender, cinnamon stick and potpourri. There was only 2 scenes with Rowan Atkinson but his character was memorable.
  4. Great soundtracks.
Well anyway, its just a great movie whenever I feel bored and lonely, that it reminds me that love is actually all around. Ooh getting cheesy there too. Bought it last year when I was feeling down with nothing to do and I absolutely love it. I think I'm gonna watch it again in a few minutes. See you!
