Ode to 2007

It's the eve of the new year.

Farewell to the past and welcome the future.

I have to say that 2007 brought a lot of experience to me. My change of profession to being a teacher for a subject that I am always fond of since my younger years. A passion? Maybe. An interest? Definitely, even though sometimes I still make grammatical errors. Back to being a student and who would have guessed that my time in Besut went by so swiftly.

The year when new friends were made which led me to my fiance, new opponent were identified, new experience were obtained. Even though I did say once that the 3 months internship dragged on like forever, when it ended, it was almost unreal that I survived. New challenges were found in the form of pupils, smart, cute and most of the time mischievous. I get to understand the true meaning of the phrase "Don't judge a book by it's cover".

The year I managed not to watch TV that much, and depend on the not so good wireless reception at the hostel. The year I learnt that no matter where we go there are always some people who tend to be envious, devious of other people no matter how minuscule the item or subject of their envy. The mirror has 2 faces and it comes as no surprise when people have tons of them.

Life is not a bed of roses. Whatever that I have gone through for this year makes me the person I am. No regrets and wallowing into it would only make me a lesser person. Adapt and improve on whatever we can.

Happy new year everyone!

Soundtracks of My Life

Surprise surprise, 2 posts in a night. So what? I'm fresh with ideas so while I'm in the mood and have the time to write, here I am with the second post. We grew up listening to songs and I bet there are songs that remind you a lot of those years - growing up, teenage, adult. I knew I grew up surrounded with songs. My mom loves songs from the 60s, my dad loves arabic songs, my late grandma loved songs during P. Ramlee era and those classic Hindi songs from the movie Sanggam being her favourite. Well here's the list of the songs that reminded me strongly of those stages.

6 years old and lower - 10 Little Indians
My mom bought me a nursery rhyme cassette and I bet I drove my brother and sister crazy when I kept playing '10 Little Indians' over and over again. Those days nursery rhymes rules, though I have this bits and pieces of memory of someone kept playing Noor Kumalasari & Sudirman's song repeatedly, hmmm.
Favourite Line: 1 little, 2 little, 3 little Indian

7 to 12 years old - Roxette's Fading Like Flower
The time when my elder siblings preference for music tend to influence a bit on what I like. My sister with her New Kids On The Block and my bro's preference on local pop, Guns n Roses and Scorpions. That was the time when I came across Roxette and Joyride being the first album I ever bought marked my younger years.
Favourite Line: In a time, When the suns descends alone, I ran a long long way from home...
p.s: I did ran away one time, not from home but from kelas mengaji on foot because I want to catch Moero Attack on TV :P sure drove my mom nuts at that time, hehehe, sorry mak.

13 to 15 years old - Backstreet Boy's We've Got It Goin' On
Those years, boy band rules and BSB was famous. Of course I had to smuggle my walkman to school and reserve my nights listening to their album even as PMR was closing in. Believe it or not, the poor people of FORM records was my constant victims for the guy's info. Lights off and 11.15 pm meant my time with my walkman started, hehehe.
Favourite Line: Jam on coz Backstreet's got it!

16 to 17 years old - Goo Goo Doll's Iris
Changes at school when it became a co-ed school. Okay make that my old all-girls school was cease to exist and the new school brought a lot of differences. The difference? Why, boys of course. I knew I had some squabbles with some of the boys in my class because of Green Day and BSB. Iris' chorus meant a lot for me at that time. Okay I rephrase that. For someone at that time la. Not forgetting that Nicholas Cage was absolutely superb in the City of Angels ^_^
Favourite Line: I just want you to know who I am

18 to 19 years old - Jann Arden's Insensitive
I lived at the hostel that time and during Valentine's Day for that year the TV aired 'Untamed Hearts' that starred Christian Slater which led me to 'Bed of Roses'. The song was the movie's soundtrack and it stroke a chord at that time to the thing that happened.
Favourite Line: I fell too fast, I feel too much

20 to 24 years old - Daniel Bedingfield's If You're Not The One
I have to say that that was my experimental years with relationships - online, blind dates, not so quite dates and all that. Experience taught me not to trust that much with online relationships but I managed to be hooked with a couple of it which turned out disastrous. But I managed to come across really good friends from other continent and met up face to face with them - Kak Nana, Abang Steve, granny Musica, Lee, Kikki - you guys are rare. Enough said but this song managed to make me cry in the middle of Midvalley Megamall - not anymore though. The song is way too beautiful for me to bawl over anymore.
Favourite Line: I miss you, body and soul so strong that it takes my breath away

25 to 26 years old - Arashi's Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi
My workaholic years - I worked late and through the weekend. This is where the term overworked and underpaid comes into the picture. Even with only 10 days annual leave, I managed to have extra 3 days for both years. Surprising isn't it? Well anyway Arashi's song kept me sane with their upbeat tempo and positive lyric. It was no surprise when rumour spread that some girls didn't commit suicide because of this song. It meant - thanks and gratitude to rain and storm.
Favourite Line: 生まれてきた僕たちは たぶんピンチに強い
Romaji: umaretekita bokutachi wa tabun pinchi ni tsuyoi
Translation: We were born, maybe the trials in life will make us stronger

Our Song - Nickelback's Far Away
Well I have to admit my sayang gave me a lot of songs but I have to say this one is my favourite, hehehe.

School is starting soon. Let me laze away................. while I can -_-;

You leave me.... Breathless

New year.

New profession.

New school.

Yes, I got posted to my hometown. To be precise, at my mom's old school in the 50s and 60s. With a school that lasted so long, of course there must be a tradition or rules to adhere to, wise and experienced teachers to work with and not forgetting the ever mischief/cute/smart kids who are the main occupant of the school to work 'on'.

This year, lots of new teachers are posted to this state, whether they applied it or not. Some of my friends are still recovering from the shock of the school that they are posted to, some are excited - of course, not all of us gets what we asked for.

My holiday is nearing to it's end.

Clock is ticking.

Days are passing by.

It seems that my goal during the holiday was to see how many books that I managed to read daily. Of course, its not those 1000 pages e-books, just the short 350+ pages ones. So far 4 were my highest count but heck, the not so good thing about that was I tend to mix the plot and the characters altogether. What the heck, no one will start marking me based on what I read. But yet again... I still haven't read Dean Koontz's Brother Odd that Dayah gave me for my last birthday, even if that was the book that I had been pestering her since January '07. Save the best for last, hehehe.

Have to say that my most-heard-to songs during the hols was Shayne Ward's If That's Okay With You, Timbaland's Apologize and *drumroll* Backstreet Boys past singles, hahahaha. Yeah, even though I did say previously that their break up songs were kind of spineless (depend on what kind of break up that you gone through that is) but those are good for groveling, muahahaha. Heck, I had gone through my teenage years listening to those songs, it's in me - just like old Feminin's songs for my brother *devilish grin*.

I'm leaving the page with Breathless. The song never cease to raise my temperature - just like Daniel Bedingfield's If You're Not The One. The lyrics are just so... *shivers*. This one is for you sayang.

Nande?! WHY?! Kenapa?!

Okay, I have to admit I am speechless after the announcement of the Asian Idol. But since it was voted by SMS and the double country voting surely made a huge difference, I have to leave it as it is. Talent wise and vocal wise, Mike Mohede of Indonesia, our very own Jac Victor and Philippines' Mau Marcelo are in my top list. So anyway, these are the performance by Mike and Jac though I was quite disappointed with Mau's choice of song since it did not highlight her vocal talent that much, in my opinion.

Blast From the Past

I wonder if people here still remember Juliet The Orange, local duo made up of girls from KL who, in my opinion managed to make me stuck playing their cassette on my then walkman until the cassette was spoilt. I remember making my bestfriend buy the album and made him hooked. I've been searching up and low for the mp3 and voila! thanks to jiwang I managed to download it, hurrah!! As for the video, no luck. There was one in youtube but it wasn't the official MV. No Pin Lean and Mei May. That sucks.

So this is my favourite song - Eyelash. First time I heard the lyric, I was kind of blurred by the meaning of it. I mean, what was with the shoes, phone and the choc mousse? Well, eventually I understood and I like what I deciphered. Here's the lyric. Knock yourself out understanding it, hahaha.

Juliet the Orange - Eyelash.

Reality, infinity
All the pieces here
Athletic shoes, Chocolate mousse
Cellular phone in his room
You will see one day, I’m here to stay
Hold your hand to me
We’ll find a way

Lightning streaks, teary bliss
Slicking on the grease
With company you will see
What this all is meant to be
You will see one day, I’m here to stay
Hold your hand to me
We’ll find a way

( chorus )
Close your eyes, snip your lashes
They fall within the ashes
The frosty old feeling, will melt oh so painlessly
Close your eyes, kill the darkness
The shears are in the closet
The muses they pray loud
For your listless journey to me

Innocence, garlands burn
All the memories
Transparencies, you will see
What this is meant to be
You will see one day
I’m here to stay, hold your hand to me
We’ll find a way

Close your eyes, snip your lashes
They fall within the ashes
The frosty old feeling, will melt oh so painlessly
Close your eyes, kill the darkness
The shears are in the closet
The muses they pray loud
For your listless journey to me

Reality, infinity
All the pieces here
Athletic shoes, chocolate mousse
Cellular phone in his room

If you happen to want the song, you can get it here.

Tonight the Asian Idol result will be announced. After the performance last night, I'm rooting for Jac not because she's Malaysian but because of her performance last night was wow, and Indonesian Mike. He kinda remind me of... what's his name... the guy who won the 2nd American Idol with Clay Aiken on the 2nd place..... aiseh. Never mind that. I love his voice.

ps: My condolences to my friend Miza for her miscarriage, and congratulations to Un for his impending marriage.

Brain Freeze

I'm supposed to be studying for my induction exam tomorrow...

Huwarghh...
After nearly 3 weeks of sitting still listening to talks from 8.30 to 4.30 daily, inclusive of 5 days and 4 nights at 'Kem Bina Negara' my brain is more than exhausted. So anyway, since my post is short, stole an artwork from my bro's deviant art for adornment since I managed to stomp on 2 roaches today, hahahaha

Can't wait to get back home!!!!

A New Face

I just feel like changing my blog address and changing my template since I have been using it for more than a couple of year. But because the line is not that good here, the first phase is just to change my blog address. Few more days to go, and then I'm audi!

p.s: I'm not gonna use Haloscan for my comment post, so get use to using the blogspot comment. No blogger or gmail account needed since you could just type it in - but it will only be seen after I approve it.

I Bathe, Ate and Drank Dead People

Although we were told about this days before we went for our Deepavali hols, I think I could finally... well... can't say completely over it...

Over the fact that some drug addict commited suicide in the town water supply tank.
EUWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

Imagine the bloated floating pieces of corpse swimming in the water tank days after people finally realize a dead man was in the tank... EUW!!!!
And the tank supplies water for the whole town....
You eat, you drink and you bathe using that particular water from that particular tank that was swimming with... euw....
Okay my imagination is running amuck,
Maybe it did not take days, maybe hours, but,
I have to admit, at one point the water was kinda murky and not that clear...
And when the water was clear... the rumour/news hit us
EUW!!!!!!!!
Other than running to other district solely for their water source, we had nowhere to go. And then finally 2 days ago the water supply was cut off - to clean up the water tank! Imagine that. After weeks gone by, they're finally cleaning it. Yuck!

So there...
We bathe, drank and ate using that water....
Imagine eating instant noodles that was being soaked in hot water...
With unknown source of protein....
Kembang tekak.

Happy Diwali

I so love my holiday ^_^

Last night watched Stardust with my bro and sis in law. The movie was great - if you like fantasy and all that. One thing I have to say, the movie was fun. Well maybe because the plot a good and the cast .... and wow! I really liked Michelle Pfeiffer as the witch and Robert DeNiro's character was so interesting, hehe.

While waiting for the movie to start, of course there were some movie preview and one thing for sure - I'm beginning to like the villainess roles in the movies. Michelle Pfeiffer for this one and Nicole Kidman for the upcoming The Golden Compass I was browsing the site and did some test on my daemon and I got this.

Well from the movie, a daemon is a person's companion in the form of animal that can talk, reflects the personality of the person, can change form as the person grows. Kinda like a talking conscience that walks by your side. Interesting eh?

Definitely looking forward to see the movie.

Selamat Hari Raya '07

Greetings everyone and Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all Muslims around the world and to all Malaysians who celebrated regardless their age and race. The hari raya eve was quite eventful with the last minute sewing of tulang belut on my uncle's and cousin's baju melayu, last minute cooking of the raya delicacies and not forgetting my 6 year-old cousin, Baby, who by chance happened to curse her Bang Ngah with "SHIT MAN!!!".

So anyway, here's the family picture of the year.

Well, that was before my younger brother and I went for a 'Dragon Ball' pose of cantum badan, ngehehehe.

First day of raya, we went visiting relatives around Pontian. Not many elders left around and sadly many passed away as Ramadhan was approaching, Al-Fatihah. Went to visit my grandpa and grandma who were finally together at the old village cemetary - they were busy masak ketupat, hihi. On the second day my sayang came and visit ^_^ ureshii yo!!! As for today, my family and I are going to visit our relatives in Johor Bahru, other than 'visiting' Jusco Taman U. Well gotta get ready

SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI!!!!!

Bazaar Food Galore

Most common question that I got when my friends and I went food hunting at the Ramadhan Bazaar in Kampung Raja - Eh! Only that?

Well 'that' was either yong tau foo or fried kueyteow.Only. Alternately. Sound like someone is trying to take advantage of the fasting month to lose a few pounds when in honesty, 2 days of hell sobered me up.

It happened on the 5th day of Ramadhan when I was stuck with a serious bout of food poisoning that rendered me speechless since I was puking my guts out. I even puked the plain water that I drank to keep the food down. The toilet became my 'favourite' hang out place for one whole day and I had to lose 2 days of fasting grr.... and that wasn't even added up to the usual red flag days. The first day I was sick I was stubborn and still went to school. Halfway during school time, I caved in and slept at the school sick bay which was proven not such a wise idea since my 'kids' kept popping in and out of the sick bay to visit. If that was not good enough I was hit by high fever by noon. That day I could only eat plain bread and nothing else.

Still went to the doc and he gave me 2 days off which I didn't use since I already told the kids that I would be teaching them how to make a wizard's hat and they were eager, I have to admit I was eager too. The next day, my tummy was still sick but went to school with a very dizzy head. Good thing Serine had some instant porridge and that's the only thing I could eat without throwing up again.

Of course those 2 days kept on haunting me each time I went to the bazaar and look at the dishes for rice since my downfall that day happened to be beef cooked in coconut milk. I kept picturing the leftover food from the day before being recycled for today. And of course all the sudden my tummy would kind of remind me how it would feel to spend the time in the toilet again. Scary. In the end I only buy food that was seen cooked at the venue. Yeah yeah, food poisoning could happen just anytime and anywhere but it doesn't hurt to be cautious.

My practical will end this Thursday. My friends and I at the school are already treated like some kind of celebrity with us being hoarded with pupils who ask for our address and phone number - which I doubt that they would even use. Found myself hanging out with year 6 pupils and showing them Jdramas through my laptop, hehehe.

The end of this week will be bittersweet...

Happy Birthday, to me ^_^

Uwah...
I dunno why but I don't like even numbers, huhuhu

I am now...
26

I prefer the number 25
21, 23, 27 oh well you know the drill
I like Odd, hehehe
Being odd, ngehehe
As if lah I could skip 26 :p

Thanks to those who wished me for my birthday - My mak who wished me yesterday, Fida, the first who wished me in the wee hours of morning - make that 12am huhu (I was dead to the world), my ayang (love you!!), my sister (F1 satu round!!!) my secondary school friends (I can't believe you guys still remember mine after all this year*gasp* love you guys!!!!) and my fellow studio slacker of FRSB UPM. Thanks a bunch!!

My WItches and Wizards

Yesterday was my final observation with my lecturer. I'm starting to teach them 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' which I plan to teach that until my practical ends end of this month. They love learning it - so far, I love teaching it. All in all, we enjoy it a lot - so far. Though anyway, it was yesterday when I did the role play for the Sorting Hat Poem, I took the pictures of the role-player today. They are so darn cute. But I guess this is the only job where I could have mixed emotions on my pupils. It is a cross between strangling-killing-laughing like crazy-pinching their cheeks. I love it, hehehe.

Tomorrow is the beginning of Ramadhan. I already said my goodbye to the canteen workers. Uwahhh my heart is heavy already. My other friend, Serine kept on going to her beloved 3 Bestari - yes, the class with legendary reputation. They are not that good in academic but they are mighty protective of their teacher Serine. They even chased a bee all over the class because teacher Serine was scared of it. So cute!!! Uwahh... but tomorrow is my observation for music class for 3 Bestari. Sure die one *_*

These are my year 5 Arif pupils - not the ones who were responsible for the bus-stop and woman bench crack. I'll put up their pictures later.

From l to r: Hufflepuff representative (Mariam), poem reciter (Muaz - I so love locking him under the stairs, hehehe), Slytherin rep (Zaki), the sorting hat (Aizad), Ravenclaw rep (Atiq) and Gryffindor rep (Faris)

Quote of the Day

OTI 5 ended today - so did UPSR. Basically OTI is the exam prepared by Terengganu Education Department for primary school pupils. I've managed to finish my marking today and well... I can't help but to highlight some of quite amusing sentences that I've come across.
  1. Ali is wearing a bus stop.
  2. I am sorry mother I am a bus stop.
  3. The woman holding a tree is a bench.
  4. Woman is in the tree.
  5. Makcik Na is my woman cap.
And suddenly, there was this:-

Mak saya nak makan nasi ayam goreng yang enak sekali ye. nanti saya balik pukul sebelas empat puluh lima nanti.
Ayah jangan lupa ambil saya di sekolah. Ayah masuk kedalam di depan kelas saya enam B dekat pondok jaga ye.
yang benar
...........................

I could kill the kid already. THAT WAS ENGLISH PAPER!!!!!!!

edit: Baru sedar, one of the pupils were actually trying to bodek me by writing - Cikgu Nadiah yang disayangi on paper 1 & Saya sayang Cikgu Nadiah on paper 2. No extra marks for that Hamidah, sorry.

Tag *sighs*

Uwah....
Time passed by so fast when you enjoyed it and especially when you're dreading not to get back to some place -_-; Few more months to go huarghhhh. Since I got tagged by my bro, oh well, another reason to update my blog, huhu

Rules
1) Each player must post these rules first.
2) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3) People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5) Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Diah's 8 random facts
  1. I always wake up before the alarm rings - whatever the time may be.
  2. You could expect me to wake up real early in the morning - like from 1 am and above but you can't expect me to stay awake past 12 midnight.
  3. I was highly surprised and OUTRAGED when Bumblebee in the real-action Transformers movie was a Chevrolet Camaro. He's supposed to be a VW BUG!!!!! And wow, Optimus Prime had a set of lips. Guess he hid it in the 1990s.
  4. A bookworm. My friends since secondary school could testify for that, hehe.
  5. An intense reader -you could expect seeing me laugh, cry or frown a lot while reading.
  6. I drink coffee - when and if I want to get a roaring headache.
  7. I can drive cars with manual and automatic transmission, and yes, I've driven tractor and lorry - in my previous career.
  8. Love listening to Japanese songs - even if I don't understand most of the lyric, hehe.
I'm gonna break the rules since I'm honestly lazing around and too malas to tag people during this glorious school holiday, ngiahaha.

Hiatus

Just ignore the long time update period

For now...
The internet is as slow as a drunken snail that got drunk while moving on some splashed alcohol on the roadside
Loading the internet page takes forever
Which means it would not finish loading even if you leave the laptop on for the whole night - that bad
Which means hundreds of uncheck mails in the mailbox
Thousands of junkmail in the bulk folder
and
Missed tv episodes on d-addicts -_-;

What's worse...
Going on a peekaboo mode on ym even when I miss my ayang so much T_T

Another bad thing
I'm a few millimetres close to blowing the HEP up
FOR THE MUCH DELAYED ALLOWANCE!!!!!!!!!
YOU %^# $%^&&#%*$ ^&*@ !!!!!!!

ps: due to the suckability of the net service at the institute, the blogwriter will not be able to update anytime soon. As for this post, she managed to travel few hundreds KM to her friend's grandparents house in K.T.

Rant!!!

Too many speculations as to why the hostel wireless is non-existent. Here, I listed some below some of the speculations and reasons that I heard so far:-
  1. The wireless modem was struck by lightning last week during a storm - But weirdly enough I was online the whole stormy and thundery moment and the connection was super fast, even after the rain had stopped.
  2. The juniors foolishly hung their clothes at the modem line and damage the whole thing during the orientation week when they had to sleep at the TV room - If it's just for 1 block it's quite acceptable but for the whole 3 blocks? Come on lah, don't start pulling my legs laaa.
  3. The administration pulled the whole thing out and never to put t back again - But then again on Wednesday someone came and spent the whole afternoon at the pantry room and tried to do something with a laptop. If they want to unplug the whole thing, it won't even take 30 minutes to unplug it all.
Either way, we don't have internet connection at the hostel. I am here at the library - by force, just to find some pictures for my lesson >_<

As for today, at school....
I was so darn mad that I wish I had my own wand and avra kedavra-ing someone grahhhhh!!
Which is one of the reasons I can't have a wand and be a witch >_<

Horcruxes and Hallows

2 years of wait.

Hundred miles of journey.

I finally completed my collection ^_^

Despite the refusal of 4 major bookstores to sell the books to walk-in customers, there's still Carrefour and Tesco. Of course lah I was one of the buyers in Carrefour since I did not know which part of the country I would be on July 21st - whether in Serdang or in Besut. Besides, the price was rm40 worth of difference. I was already gone bonkers with all the promotions when I went to Megamall on the 20th with my sister to send off a cousin there. I was about to reserve a copy at MPH but then again, I was wondering if I have the energy to rush on the commuter train from UKM early in the morning to queue up for the book. Then my lifesaver - I heard the commercial on the radio that Carrefour will be selling it too. Went to Carrefour Alamanda to make a reservation that very afternoon and off I went home with a relieved heart. Night time, went out for dinner with my sayang, all was well.

Morning came, I shook my sister up from her slumber (chewah) and rushed to Alamanda. I was one of the first 100. The special gift was not much but I really like the poster that I got for pre-ordering the book. Then I was lost in my own world. My sister might as well talk to a brick wall since I did not hear anything that she said - except for sending her back to the Gemilang Hall and fetch her at 3 for our hi-tea at Palm Garden.

The book was marvelous. The theory that my brother and I made about someone was right on target. I kept on sms-ing Edda, another avid reader/ex-classmate of mine each time one of the main characters were killed. So many died and I could not help but cry when one of them went down. One will lose an ear. The hunt for horcruxes were very challenging and the search for the Deathly Hallows adds up the complicated journey. Harry will become someone else's godfather and the final battle on Hogwarts ground was a masterpiece. Who would have thought that the motherly Molly Weasley could duel heads on with Sirius' killer? She even gave the bloody witch a very hard time at it. The final duel - Harry against Voldemort... you just have to read it yourself.

The ending was lovely. I really love it. 10 stars for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!!

I'm just wondering which part of the book will they hack the when it comes for this book to be made a movie. So far my friends were highly disappointed watching Order of Phoenix - so I'm not going to watch it either. The Half-blood Prince.... pass it too maybe.

Sighs...

Saturday, when my friends went and enjoy themselves for this year's Bon Odori, I'm here stuck with lesson plans and of course - sekolah ganti. So anyway since I'm not there to take pictures, stole some of the pics from the forum. Now... siape yang ade eh...

Waa... someone wearing yukata, kawaii deshou? l to r: Buru-chan, tk (tak kenal), har-chan's imouto, tk, buzzy, Wan-kun, Aina.

Waaaa kirei na uchiwa. Last year oren x lawa huhuhu. l to r: tk, tk, Aina, Har-chan, tk, Linda (ke Lina?), Azah, Buru-chan, Buzzy, tk, Lina (atau Linda?).

The stage. If you've seen Karate Kid 2, it's more or less like that one.

The stage up-close.

Seronokla derang berdansa around the stage like this
Takpe, there's still next year and the years after. All so sudden terbayang Oh-chan's solo Song For Me buat lagu for the Bon Odori dance *_*

Today is the registration for the KPLI July intake and I got myself a new room-mate. Time to get acquainted, huhuhu.

Filling a balloon full of my small dreams ^_^

Its the weekend.
Feels like it's been months since my last weekend.
Of courselah, I would be exaggerating if I said that.

Last week we only had a day weekend - since Besut needs to exchange for schooldays during the upcoming Eid in October. Oh well, tomorrow's the last of the 'ganti' then I'm off to spend my 2 days weekend.

So far the practical session drags. Have to write the 4 to 5 pages of lesson plan by hand, prepares the worksheet and teaching aids for the day after since our supervisor might pop in any day soon. The KH girls at my school already received their surprise when their supervisor came to the school without any warning - it was a sobering and jolting experience.

Just to keep my head clear, watched Tohoshinki's Balloon video clip. As one of my friends said, this is the only group she know to have too many AKAs and abbreviations. Dongbashinki, DBSK, DBSG, Tohoshinki, TVXQ - many names, same group.

The song makes me want to go back to my childhood. Well actually back to my secondary school time. We were as 'terencat' as that back then. I still remember 'the puppet show' we did from the girl's hostel corridor for the boys in 'AT' were making their way to the hall for their communication arabic paper. The lyric and translation can be found here.

Short term goal - find a way to drill the word 'communication' and the spelling for telephone, television, radio and computer into the mind of my pupils. Anyway, this is not meant as a laughable case.

First Day at School

For one I did not get to act like Yankumi by:-

Giving one heck of a 'poyo' speech during an introduction in a school assembly
Being threatened bodily by a student
Landed herself to a class that no one wants
Kick and punch a group of thugs who stole money from her student until they were unconscious
So anyway, my first day for the internship was okay. Have to get used to being alone in the room, and being the only one - a tonyok does not count - at the floor wing, I found myself keep waking up every single hour just because it's too quiet around. Za and Linda moved out to Wakaf Tengah, Za's grandparents' house. Sure miss both of them, huhuhu.

Whirlwind Weekend

Despite the wrong ticket that I bought
Despite my immobility due to my sister's busy weekend
Despite the impromptu-ness of the decision
I still managed to get back to KL and spent my weekend there

^_^

For the wrong ticket, Za and I could blame Maraliner for not stating which Bandar Tun Razak that they go. We thought it was the BTR in Cheras but minutes before boarding time, all hell broke lose when the conductor told us it was the BTR in Kratong. We were panicked of course since all ticket to KL for that night were sold out. Luckily there was someone who were willing to cramp us at the back of a bus en route to KL. That problem was solved.

Then in Bangi, my sister was too busy managing a course at her place that she needed to use her car to go back and fro. I was room-bound during daytime and was about to leave to Mines as planned on Komuter to meet up with my sayang. Then rain fell like cats and dogs as I was about to leave. Thankfully my sister managed to car pool with a friend that night and I got myself a car.

The next day, had to leave real early even if my bus would actually leave at 10 at night. Good thing Linda was with me. Went to Midvalley, watched Fantastic 4 and then went to my aunt's house in Bangsar. Linda was, as last time got her hands full by melayan my 6 years old cousin, Baby while I get to spend my time with Dayah and her Mak. Currently, Baby is perfecting her skills in saying 'whatever' to everyone around. The 'whatever' caused her sister to pick her up and dunk her in the washing machine, hahahaha.

By the time I had to leave for Hentian Putra, I found myself dragging my feet to the door towards the car. You could expect me to leave Besut in a heart beat, no matter whatever difficulties and complications, but leaving for Besut... now that's a different thing altogether.

Oh well, few more months to go. You can do it Diah!!!!

Spring Cleaning

It's spring cleaning day.

Well, for today it was only applied to my own 'happy place'. There were so many books that I've accumulated since secondary school, so my room was strewn with it. When there's books, of course dust will settle in and caused yours truly to sneeze like there was no tomorrow during the cleaning. By noon, my voice was so messed up that I started to sound more like a boy who just reached puberty -_-;

Other than books, there were also my bro's damaged PS joysticks which he conveniently dumped into my already full room. Not forgetting my sister's old college stuff, my old notes, souveniers, gifts, magazines, damaged motherboards, DVDs, VCDs, shoe boxes - I honestly don't know why I still had those @_@

One thing about spring cleaning I found the things that I thought was lost for good. There were my class pictures, some books that I thought was missing, my primary school report card, my primary school student file and loads of other things that I've been searching for ages. Guess I had it coming, huh? *_*

Finished dispensing with all useless and needless stuff, I went cleaning my books. Yeah you got that right, cleaning it with damp cloth. One thing about using mosquito coils at night, it caused staining on the books. Some of the stains were easy to be rid off - on plastic covered books that is but on uncovered book, by golly it took a long time to get it clean. Then the arranging part comes which caused me a headache. I know I lost a lot of my Christopher Pike's, a few of Judith Mcnaught's, a James Patterson's which I guess were kind of a blessing in disguise because I run out of place for it. Though I still need to spare a space for the last Harry Potter book that will be released in July -_-;

Now it's no longer an eyesore... that much ^_^;

The cleaning ended at about 4 and boy I was beat. I need tissues, ACCHOOO!!!

*Tummy Rumbling*

I was driving and yet again... hearing the song never fails - so far - to make me salivate and craving for...

A BURGER!!!!!!!!!!! -_-;

Well it started in 2005 when Don and Drew had their own slot on 987fm, a Singaporean radio station - and also my all time favourite station. They were always up for the challenges given by the listeners whether to do a remix, a mix or even come up with a song. Haven't heard the song for so long and when I did... wallao!! Good thing they still have their web page on. Yeah, yeah, I already did an entry for this in 2005, but what the heck, the song's good and funny. You could sing along to the song here, hehehe. The quality is not that good though - I can't change the setting on my audio recorder -_-; Dedicated to burger-tepi-jalan lovers out there, hehehe

Ramly (Burger Lembu) - Don and Drew

Raaaaaaaaamly!!!
Burger lembu!! (this part sound like Boogiely boo, but it's actually burger lembu - on a mat saleh tongue)

Yo Ramly, you're with the family
Your meat is manly
Get fatter than fat

Yo Ramly, you're with the family
Your meat is manly
Get fatter than fat

Yo Ramly is the burger that I love to eat,
Even though I don't know what's in the meat,
A lil bit of egg and a lot of sauce,
No matter what they say I don't believe its horse
If you're feeling like a Ramly in Singapore
You gotta get up off your a**
You gotta leave this shore
You gotta barge us in you gotta get 3 or 4
But no matter how much
You gonna want some more

Bun, patty, egg, cheese, rubber duck please
I hold my Ramly between my knees
Yo even though the chef is infested with fleas
Squeeze the buns together to release the grease

Yo Ramly, you're with the family
Your meat is manly
Get fatter than fat

Ramly is good, good Malaysian food
Ramly is good, eat it like you should

Remember the time I was in JB
A rumble in my tummy I was feeling hungry
I just had lunch it was a quarter to 3
I ran across the road and then I found
RAMLY!!

I went up to the man and then I said how much
He said if you ain't got the money then you can't touch
But I needed to eat burger I just could not wait
So I just took off the road and then I salivate

Ramly is good, good Malaysian food
Ramly is good, eat it like you should

So what about the time I was in Langkawi
I walked into the market so much stuff to see
Yo had my pretty home girl walking next to me
And there I behold, what did I see?
RAMLY!!

At first I was afraid I was petrified
I didn't know what the hell was being fried
The woman said "burger"
I said don't you lie
And you know it was the best thing I've ever tried

Yo Ramly, you're with the family
Your meat is manly
Get fatter than fat

Kuala Lumpur there was a special time
Don and Drew were there without a nickel or dime
No money to get, no money to lend
We only had a little bit of money to spend
So we got a ramly burger with bun and patty
We really didn't care we were gonna get fatty
Blimey its so good that just we have to sing it
The yummy little burger only cost 2 ringgit

Ho-hum weekend

I did not go out that much this weekend - unlike the previous one where I moved around a lot. Had to stay home for the tiling guy to finish his work at home. Mak and Abah was busy with weddings and meetings so someone had to stay home for the guy to do his job. Good thing for the Star Wars marathon that made me a wee bit ting tong after being fed 6 movies back to back @_@

Managed to go to Irra's place in the morning to pass her some keropok I got for her, went to the bank for my bro to deposit some money and then went back home in record time. The guy reached home for the work an hour after. Good timing, hehehe.

Got Julie Garwood's latest novel - Shadow Dance. Felt like dancing here and there since the much awaited character finally got his break, YEAY!!! It was years ago when I sent an e-mail to Ms Garwood regarding the character, asking when will be his turn to be in the spotlight. I was more than thrilled when she replied that his turn was yet to come, uwahhhh!!! Few novels later, hurrah!! It's out!! Those who read her work might be familiar with her crime/suspense series which circulated mostly on the Buchanans. The character in question was Noah Clayborne - the agent who's always in every novel, butting in every crime scene. By the time I was done reading, my neck was stiff and my eyes were doing some tricks on me, huhuhu.

By 6.30pm Mak and Abah reached home from their meeting, cooked for dinner and watched POTC 1 on channel 5. Guess I was already unconcious after the movie ended and so here I am, wide awake early in the morning - guess so lah.

2 more weeks to go. Time does fly *_*

Rush Rush...

After much waiting and delaying, finally I spent my part of the holiday spending my time at the cinema doing a back-to-back movie marathon - for Shrek 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean - at World's End. Had already planned for the marathon since before the holiday started with my bro. Good thing my brother and I are students so we both qualified for the RM5 ticket price, ngehehehe. But one thing that I have to say - the cinema ad at GSC Leisure Mall was so darn long that I guess I've seen nearly all the upcoming movie preview. Pirates of the Caribbean was supposed to start at 11.20am. The movie started - in all honesty - at 11.50am. Gile lama. the whole cinema was half-groaning watching the ad back to back. I mean imagine watching 3 advertisement of the same item back to back and that was not the end of it, uwahhhh.

Done yapping on the advertisement, now let's get back to the movies. I definitely like POTC 3 better than the 2nd one. The reason - the did not recycle the jokes from the previous episode that much, and, *spoiler alert* I have to say, the part when Will Turner became captain *not going to say more on that* had to do all I could not to say "kakkoi!!!!" aloud. Well for those who plans to watch it and haven't yet, a tip from me try to wait when the credit rolls in the end. When all the credit was done there's something at the end of it. Of course la, most were already up and leaving the cinema house when the credit starts to roll in. It was only a short part but enough to tell what happened to Will & Elizabeth.

Shrek 3 - another good movie, enough to make me laugh my soles off. Girl power oozes off from the movie when the princesses and a queen was fighting for Far Far Away. Their adaptation on high school was funny with the nerd playing chess, jocks was jousting, cheer leading group and all that. Overall, I like both movies.

After Leisure Mall, off we went to Holiday Plaza to meet another pirate. I was aiming for Nino's Letters from Iwojima, hoping that they might have Japanese movies on the rack. What greeted me on sight was that ALL the vcd store was closed - well not exactly closed. Their door happened to be closed but as I approached one of the guys, saying I want to buy DVD, they opened the shop, enough for me to get in and closed the shop. I have never felt so sweaty palmed and nervous before just buying DVD. Of course la I had to ask the guy.

"Semua tutup kedai. Ada rush ke?"
"Ya, lor. Suppose 1 sampai 5 petang."

Wallawei *_*

It was 5.30pm and they were still on guard. My bro was asking for 24 season 5 and they took a long time to get that particular series to the shop. My imagination was running amok thinking what would happen if suddenly the shop was rushed - with me and my bro in it *shivers*. I got my Iwojima and I was more than glad to get out of the shop and went straight back home.

What a way to end the day @_@

Oh, and Iwojima is certainly great. True to the review which dubbed it better than it's counterpart - Flag of Our Fathers, the movie seems more humane except from the part when the soldiers opted to kill themselves with the hand grenade, erk.

Song of the Day - Stolen

Dashboard Confessional - Stolen

We watch the season
Pull up it’s own stakes
And catch the last weekend
Of the last week
Before the gold and the glimmer have been replaced
Another sun soaked season fades away

You have stolen my heart
You have stolen my heart

Invitation only
Grant Farewells
Crash the best one
Of the best ones
Clear liquor and cloudy eyed
Too early to say goodnight

You have stolen my heart
You have stolen my heart

And from the ballroom floor
We are in celebration
One good stretch before our hibernation
Our dreams assured and we all
Will sleep well
Sleep Well

Sleep Well
Sleep Well
Sleep Well

You have stolen
You have stolen my
You have stolen my heart

Watch you spin around
In your highest heels
You are the best one
Of the best ones
We
All
Look
Like
We
Feel

You have stolen my
You have stolen my
You have stolen my heart

P.S: For the special someone who have stolen mine ;)

3 weddings

I finally reached home on Friday evening, after a transit in Kajang and an early date in Serdang. The journey took longer because of the road patching along the north-south highway. My stomach was already rumbling in pain as I reached Pontian. Harahenta~~~~ *_*

So anyway the real YB trip started on Saturday for Anem's wedding. It was great. Many turned up, of course most are the same faces for wedding, hehehe - Abby, Sue Mail, Nini, Odah, Qis, Imah, Tut, Nofie and her 2 daughters, Ina Maz and husband, Yus, Zamose, Edda, Apau, Mat Nor, Iswan, Pumpkin, Abot, Azwad, Areng and some faces I knew but I forgot their names, sorry *_* Ina was with her husband and daughter - Normadiha. Too bad I did not mange to take her baby's picture.

Maleh nak bercerite panjang, here are some pictures from Anem's wedding.

From l to r: Edda, Imah, Nofie (blocked by Imah) Sue Mail, Farah (Nofie's firstborn) Cepot, Lin Malek, Qis, yours truly and Odah. The groom and bride posing behind.

Nofie's 2nd kid - Fika

Group pic (Areng shy-shy tak masuk gambar).

Second day, went out early in the morning to Edda's house in Sungai Telur. We planned to go together to Su-San's wedding in Kota Jaya since her house is just along the way from Kulai. After a short talk with her parents of we went to Along's house with Yus and Zamose, also in Kota Jaya to visit her and her baby, Zati. Kawaii deshou?

Then off we went to Su-san's house nearby. We were early of course since we want to have ample time to go to 2 weddings for the day - hers in Kota Tinggi and Syasya's in JB. Managed to meet up with Harlin, Nazrah and Malia.

Second stop for the day - Syasya's wedding in Taman Perling. I haven't seen her for years and all of us had to wait for the DJ's announcement since we don't want to attend the wrong place for the second time. We nearly went to the wrong house earlier so of course, second error is kind of freaky.

Ujai turned up for the wedding, with her husband and her son - yes we have a boy in the baby group. Here's the pic.

Ujai is working at Hospital Sultan Ismail, so if you want an MC you can ask her or her husband, hehehehe.

Okay done with my report with all the pics of friends and babies- as requested by Along *phew*

Tasukete!!!!!!!!!! @_@

Today we went for another SBE (School-base-experience) session at a nearby school. Examination week has started for the pupils and as you can see earlier I was quite free at the common room that I had an opportunity to go bonkers over the upcoming holiday. So anyway the subliminal feeling lasted until a teacher asked my friends and I to take care of the music test. Za had to take care of year 4N, Linda year 5D while yours truly get to take care the whole hall filled with year 6 pupils.

I know it was going to be hard *sighs. But anyway it is another experience for me.

It was 11.30am when I made my way to the examination venue. Pupils were running all over the place until I had to project my voice throughout the hall.

"Gikgu, cantik baju cikgu"
"Cikgu, tempak saya dok kena kipah cikgu, panah"
"Cikgu, periksa gapo cikgu?"

Aisehmen -_-;

After distributing the answer sheet and questions, the exam began. The first 5 minutes some of the pupils already started fidgeting, doing all they could to copy from their friends.

"Cikgu, guano nak jawak? Dok belaja lagi ni"

"Siapa cikgu nampak bual lagi, cikgu ambik kertas jawapan sekarang jugak!!"

Well that trick works.....
For that time only la as afterwards they started to tembak like crazy -_-;

As one of the teachers had warned us, some of them might have finished with their answers in 10 minutes. After they were done with their answers we just have to make sure that they do not wander outside. True to the prediction, some of them were done with the answers and started talking with their friends, switching places, writing love letters, melaram in front of a small mirror. Uwahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

"Cikgu, nak kecing cikgu"
"Teacher, may I please go out?"
"Cikgu, dok tahan nak kecing cikgu"
"Cikgu, dia tumbuk saya cikgu"
"Cikgu, dia cakap bapak saya cikgu"

Then it felt like hours instead of 1 hour. I was more than glad when the clock reached 11.35am. What a day. What an experience *_*

Countdown Towards CUTI!!!!!

Minutes are like hours
Seconds are like days (exaggerating la)

I'm just all psyched up for the upcoming 3-weeks holiday
Yes!!!
3 long weeks of doing anything - visiting friends, movies, weddings, gatherings, sleeping, kacau my adik at home, basically anything
Yatta!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Gilo aku huhuhu

Roy sent me an sms yesterday informing that she had safely deliver her baby girl, who weighs 3.1kg at 4.27pm. I'm excited enough to finally get the chance to visit Along and her baby, Nofie and her kids, now I got another visit on the list - Roy.

Whoaaaa, my to-do list is already full before the holiday even started. Hanim's wedding on 26th, Su-San's and Syasya on 27th @_@ serupa YB pulak, hehehehe.

Happy Teacher's Day!!!

This is the first time in my life anyone wishes me 'Happy Teacher's Day!'
Woke up at 4am to do some assignment and as time gradually pass, suddenly

"Happy Teacher's Day, Kak Diah!!!"

No, no, no it's not the Hantu-penyikat-rambut who wished me that. It was my room-mate, Aie who wished me as she woke up. Got numerous messages and well wishes all around me afterwards. Huwaaaaa ureshi XD

Sightings

Have you ever encountered any scary situation in your life?
I had my fair share before at school and at this particular hostel - Mr. Poch, Mr. Black thingy with red eyes and Ms. laugh-back-at-my-laugh.
But nothing compared to what happened this early morning.

I slept at my friend's room since both of our room-mate was away. I slept on the empty bed and I have to say that I slept quite early at about 11ish pm. Sometime afterwards I was kinda realized, in between my conscious and sub-conscious mind 'something' went past over me. Then I felt that my hair was being brushed. Well at first it was just feeling like something was combing my hair. I thought it was kind of funnyla because all I thought was "Okay, feels good as long as it doesn't tangled up at the end of the hair tip."

Then it hit me, you have seen how the beds here were arranged. How is it possible for anyone to comb my long hair without even turning it to my left side? Then I felt like my hair was combed with something sharp. Something that felt like blade tip on my scalp. I woke up just to feel myself being trapped and unable to move. Darn it. I haven't gone through that for years so I tried to do what experience taught me - move my head to snap out from the immobility. Then I felt like the thing went to my backside *author's note: I was sleeping facing the wall on my right side*. I could move just to feel my head snapping back to it's original place. Then I tried calling for my friend with all I could, even if I felt my mouth was stuck but I knew I managed to cry out something.

And then I heard a voice.

"Panggil lah lagi."

Kurang ajar punye hantu.

All the sudden after some fighting, I could move. I looked at my phone beside my pillow. It was 1.52am. I looked at my friend, she seemed to be asleep. But then she looked at me and opened her eyes. Punyela berderau darah.

"Akak ngigau la tadi."

"Ye ke? Ngigau ape?" I asked, just to confirm myself if what I had gone thrrough was just a dream or not.

"Ntah, macam bunyi org nangis. Bunyik tak bukak mulut pastu kepala gerak-geraklaaa. Hish, akak ni, time ni laaa nak ngigau."

Then I heard the sound of a cat meowing very weirdly outside. I've heard that sound before. It does not sound like cats in mating heat or in a fight. It sounded like it was moaning very long and at certain level it sounded like a baby mewling *shivers*. My neck felt like I had a session of 'salah bantal' in the morning which miraculously went away after I went for my Subuh prayer.

Blast From The Past

What song did you hear when you were growing up?

Apart from my sister's influence who loves Ace of Base so much at that time.
Apart from my brother's strong likeness towards KRU and Feminin *hehehe*
I still manage to get my own preference on the music at that time. It was the so-called boy-band era. Numerous boy-bands of that time such as Backstreet Boys, N'sync, 911, 5ive, Natural, A1, Code Red, Caught in The Act so on and so forth.

So anyway, for this weekend spent the time with Linda singing our lungs out any songs that we could remember from the shower to our rooms. The song that kept playing in my head is 5ive's Until The Time Is Through. Brought me back to my secondary school years when radio is a must and at that time I had to smuggle my walkman in. Of coursela, my school at that time did not allow any forms of entertainment nor any magazines that were associated with it. Then again, as some of you might get bored of hearing, it's the best time in my life, those 5 years I mean.

Here's my 'earworm' of the week

Until The Time Is Through - 5ive

Now and Forever, Until the Time Is Through

I Can't Believe It, I Don't Know Where to Start,
No Baby, So Many Questions Deep Inside My Heart

Give Me a Moment Before You Go,
There's Something You Ought to Know.

[chorus]
Baby Now and Forever,
Until the Time Is Through (Until the Time Is Through),
I'll Be Standing Here,
Waiting and Never Give Up My Faith in You (Give Up My Faith in You),
Trying to Make It Clear,
Without Your Love, I'd Be Half a Man, Maybe One Day, You'll Understand,
Now and Forever, Until the Time Is Through

I'll Be Waiting!

How Can I Tell You, So That You Can See,
You Know That, Love Has a Meaning,
When You Are Here With Me (When You Are Here With Me Baby)

Give Me a Moment Before You Go,
There's Something You Ought to Know.

[chorus]
Baby Now and Forever,
Until the Time Is Through (Until the Time Is Through),
I'll Be Standing Here,
Waiting and Never Give Up My Faith in You (Give Up My Faith in You),
Trying to Make It Clear,
Without Your Love, I'd Be Half a Man, Maybe One Day, You'll Understand,
Now and Forever, Until the Time Is Through

There Is no One to Comfort Me,
Here in My Cold Reality,
I'm Searching For Words,
What Can I Say to Make You See.

Baby Now, Until the Time Is Through, I'll Be Here. [2x]

[chorus]
Baby Now and Forever,
Until the Time Is Through (Until the Time Is Through),
I'll Be Standing Here,
Waiting and Never Give Up My Faith in You (Give Up My Faith in You),
Trying to Make It Clear,
Without Your Love, I'd Be Half a Man, Maybe One Day, You'll Understand,
Now and Forever, Until the Time Is Through

p.s: For you bebeh ;)

Attack of The Killer Ants

Okay, so I exaggerate on the 'killer' part. The thing is, I have ants problem in my room. One thing for surela, the occupants of this room are surely sweet *perasaan tak hengat*. Not that I have lots of sweet food in store - Pringles, maggi mee, honey which I kept it air tight in layers of plastic, Milo 3 in 1 and oats, that's about it. It is also mind boggling when the ants kept aiming for my electric kettle. The water was not even sweetened, aaarghhhh. So Za & I took matter into our own hand - we bought ant chalks.

This is just about how we go about using the chalk, if some of you are new to the concept of using chalk to repel ants.

1. Make a circle or line on where you don't want the ants to be in.

2. Put any food or stuff that you don't want to be infested by ants inside the circle.

3. Voila! Ants can't get in.
That small lined-up dots are the ants that could not get in.

Anyway, you could always use the chalk for something else, like:-

Call Kal-el back to Krypton *snickers*

Making S.O.S sign to the cape crusader, if he realize the symbol was for him lah.

Kill off the demons or opening the door to otherworld.
The power of three will set you free, hehehehe

Making outline of the victim at the crime scene @_@

XD XD XD

Blurry mind,
Vermilion eyes,
Night has gone,
Morning comes,
Confession of time,
Opening of mind,
We both said yes,
A new leaf has turned.

To say out loud,
I'm segan,
Not to say anything here,
Tak kena la pulak,
To jump here and there,
Nanti kena masuk Tanjung Rambutan,
To stay still and do nothing,
Sangatla tak kena.

What is tak kena?
Err...
Anou ...
Ahhh ...

Takde pape yang tak kena *fallsover*
Happy gila, ngehehe.

p.s: this is an example of nonsense poem - in honesty.
tapi what I wrote up there is partially nonsense and non-nonsense
I'm confusing myself again *_*

The Zombie Walks :p

Been a great Friday. Morning went off to the KL International Book Fair with Curx, with the original intent of looking for books relevant to my current English assignment. Found some and also bought a comic by our local artist. The graphic attracted my eyes, but the dialogue inside was kind of a drag and the bubble was kinda distracting. Something that can be improved, I'm sure.

After returning from the book fair, made my way to my cousin's house in Jln Klang Lama for her solemnization ceremony. Well, at this hour my head is basically occupied elsewhere so I'd better just paste some piccies I took from the ceremony.

Hantaran belah perempuan

Hantaran belah lelaki

Cucu Ra'ah
Anak Pahmi, anak Jun, anak Bedah & anak Din
P.s: Curx, the pic I've been telling you, hehehe

Questionnaire

Sat all day at my bro's home.

My sister will pick me up later tonight to help her clear out her room and move to a new room since her room at the block have to be renovated. Tomorrow is Spiderman 3 day - going to watch it with bro, sis in law and sis. Sunday - my cousin's wedding reception. As if I could go anywhere other than class on that particular day. Just to fill up my time, a questionnaire I picked from my friendster's bulletin board. Since I'm doing it out of boredom, I'm not going to tag anyone *baik hati punya, hehe*

Powdered Donuts

I'm hungry.
There's nothing to do at the class.
It seems like forever, having to wait until 10am to finally have the booth open.
One heck of a convocation eh?

Anyway, just a post for today
Thanks to Areng (teringin aku nak jumpe anak-anak kau, esp harumi, hehe) for asking me Remioromen's Konayuki
1 litre of tears
Definitely means you will cry a litre of tears watching it la
Synopsis wise
A high school girl found out that she was diagnosed with Spinocerebellar Degeneration
Her body system failed her bit by bit
From her movement to her speech
Her lifespan was short
Based on the real life story (minus the boyfriend character) of Aya... I forgot her surname

Konayuki (Powdered Snow) - Remioromen

Konayuki mau kisetsu wa itsumo sure chigai
The season in which the powdered snow dances always passes by
Hitogomi ni magirete mo onaji sora miteru no ni
Even if I’m lost in a crowd I can see the same sky
Kaze ni fukarete nita you ni kogoeru no ni
Even though I'm chilled as if I'm being blown by the wind

Boku wa kimi no subete nado shitte wa inai darou
I don't know anything about you, do I?
Soredemo ichi oku nin kara kimi wo mitsuketa yo
And yet, I found you amongst a billion people
Konkyo wa naikedo honki de omotterunda
There's no basis for this, but I believe this with all seriousness

Sasaina ii aimo nakute, Onaji jikan wo ikite nado ike nai
We can't live at the same time without trivial fights
Sunao ni nare nai nara Yorokobi mo kanashimi mo munashii dake
If we can't be ourselves, then happiness and sadness are both just lies

Konayuki nee kokoro made shiroku somerareta nara
Powdered snow, if you paled me white to the heart
Futari no kodoku wo wake au koto ga dekita no kai
Can you share our loneliness?

Boku wa kimi no kokoro ni mimi wo oshi atete
I pressed my ear against your heart
Sono koe no suru hou he sutto fukaku made
I want to go down toward the sound of your voice
Orite yukitai soko de mou ichi do aou
Until I get down that deep, let's meet up there again

Wakari aitai nante
I want us to understand
Uwabe wo nadete itano wa boku no hou
I was the one who stroked the surface
Kimi no kajikanda te mo nigirishimeru
Even though we were connected by
Koto dakede tsunagatteta no ni
Me holding your hand that was numb with the cold

Konayuki nee eien wo mae ni amari ni moroku
Powdered snow, hey, you, in a way that is too fragile
Zara tsuku ASUFARUTO no ue shimi ni natte yuku yo
Turn eternity into a stain on the rough asphalt up ahead

Konayuki nee toki ni tayori naku kokoro wa yureru
Powdered snow, hey, my unreliable heart wavers
Soredemo boku wa kimi no koto mamori tsuduketai
And yet, I want to keep protecting you

Konayuki nee kokoro made shiroku somerareta nara
Powdered snow, hey, when you colored us white, all the the way to my heart
Futari no kodoku wo tsutsunde sora ni kaesu kara
You envelop our loneliness, and return it back to the sky

Saturday Morning *yawns*

I'm studying for Gerko paper later in the aftenoon.

But still it won't stop me from doing a simple test and paste it here, ngehehehe.

You scored as English/Journalism/Comm. You should strongly consider majoring (or minoring) in Communication, English, Film, Journalism, Literature, or Writing.

It is possible that the best major for you is your 2nd, 3rd, or even 5th listed category, so be sure to consider ALL majors in your OTHER high scoring categories (below). You may score high in a category you didnt think you would--it is possible that a great major for you is something you once dismissed as not for you. The right major for you will be something 1) you love and enjoy and 2) are really great at it.

Consider adding a minor or double majoring to make yourself standout and to combine your interests. Please post your results in your myspace/blog/journal.
