Girls' Night Out

It has been few weeks since I saw my best friend Eena and get that much time to talk to each other. We were both got buried up in work and haven't been in touch since due to the warped schedule that we have that just circulate between work, boyfriend, eat and sleep. Sounds too boring sometimes but when anyone is too drained up, sleep is the best thing to do. So we planned on a night out together just two of us (supposed to be three of us always but due to unavoidable problem, there's only two left)

We started out with our chicken rice routine at Aked Meranti UTM - definitely the best chicken rice i've had in Johor.... the rice is perfect, the soup is always hot, the gravy sweet and spicy and the chicken.... can still taste the perfection *sighs. Afterwards, we head back to Eena's room to change, bathe and pray before setting out to City Square. The first plan was to watch anything on the cinema and bug one of our old friens who works in Watson's. Those two plan didn't work out. There was nothing interesting shown at Mega pavillion that night and Lin was off duty. So we went around at the complex mostly saying "huh? since when did Bonia shop become this big?", "Where did that shop goes?" and "I don't remember having too many hair salon here". What can I say? we haven't been that actively checking all the things that goes on around CS.

At Watson's Eena was preening over the hair section for hair dye. She had obviously grew her hair so long and had it cut so that the color was lost. "You think this colour is okay? I don't knowlah whether my abang will like it or not". After nearly 30 minutes, she calls it off and took me away for another walk around the complex before making her mind. The first floor was a bit hard for me, there were too many accesories and I was actually thinking of adding more piercing to my ears. "Go aheadlah... are you sure?" Eena said that got me hesistating. "Eh, can you not ask me if I'm sure or not?" I said back and took her away and walk saying I'll think about it before the whole complex is closed.

We nearly got ourselves into a shop when we saw the sony exhibition at the other side of the concourse area. We thought there were only boring beauty cosmetic fair because at the other side, its all about beauty. We were goofing around and looking at the home theater set when what we saw stopped us at our track. Well we actually saw digital cameras and handycams on display and decided to have a look. A friendly salesperson came to us and we were expecting the usual all-about-price-briefing-but-no-specification-added but we were wrong. We got to hear all about technical stuff about the camera, the lense, the flash, the picture exposure adjustment and all that. We were hooked, especially at the outrageous offer of a sony dvd player for only 99cents for purchasing a dvd handycam and PDA for RM299 for a purchase of sony digital camera. Too bad that we did not know about the fair or we would be buying it on the spot.

That was when our night become aimless. We both did not know where else to go and clueless after leaving the booth. We nearly didn't pay for the parking ticket. Gone were the thoughts of buying hair dye and getting ear pierced and we both laughed when we stopped by at the mamak restaurant for a hot drink realizing that we did not buy and spend anything save the parking ticket at CS. That was definitely the first time it ever happen. I really really hope that there would be the fair again and then I could get myself ready for it. Bye bye 99cents dvd player.

*aimless & clueless*
